Karen was our Saleslady and she was extremely nice and was EXTREMELY EXCELLENT at her job and very informative about ALL of their mobility products and accessories!!! We were very pleased with the way she explained everything to us and she is the reason we purchased the scooter!! Karen also was extremely nice when it came to a monthly payment and I hadnt gotten paid yet and I had to wait till a couple days before my check hit my bank to pay my bill but I never missed a payment she was always extremely understanding because she trusted me because I told her I never wanted to miss a payment. I wanted to keep a great relationship with her and this company!! My last regular payment came out of my account this month and as of today 1/18/2025 my balance is $60.00 and I was just trying to call her today to pay my balance but they are closed so I will be calling on Monday to finalize my bill then!! We have had Bruno stairlifts installed by MITS for several years. They have been a blessing, both for our use and for our handicap accessible rental. I cannot climb or descend stairs without a major effort!
Like all electromechanical devices, the lifts occasionally have a glitch or two, like a blown fuse, stuck relay, loosened wire, maybe once a year.
The service from MITS by Richard and his staff has been exceptional. They have shown up typically by the next day, and sometimes the same day. They always have whatever part or gadget is necessary to fix the stairlift. (And they test everything and clean the railsl when they come.)
Case in point. My personal Bruno stopped suddenly most of the way down at 10:30 at night. I left a message with MITS, and they were at my door at 9 AM the next morning, found the problem (battery connection had come loose) , and were gone by 9:15.
Could not ask for better. And they are a local firm, so they are available when needed.

We just took our handicap van that is used for my sister in law there because passenger air bag light on. I am a mechanic myself and could not figure out the problem since vehicle modified...I was anticipating a large amount for that and the vehicle needed inspected. I called and gentleman gave me amount and I about to fall off my chair.. They just charged me a very small amount and I was shocked. They are amazing and recommend them!!! Give them a 5 star out of 5!!!

Tom helped me get my oversized power chair repaired...even though he didn't make a cent off to it! He even brought over a manual chair for me to use while it was being repaired. We also got a ramp repaired on my van at a fair price and done quickly. Our experience was good with these folks and we will go back!

Was such a great experience! People were friendly, worked fast and fixed what we needed, were able to explain what was wrong and how to fix it, and even fixed stuff we didn't know was broken! And since there were no parts that needed to be ordered, we just paid for the labor. Highly recommend and would 100% go back, and we're from near dc, but it's worth the drive.

I used MITS of Virginia to have a new Toyota Sienna converted to a VMI Northstar wheelchair conversion that I picked up a few weeks ago. Steve Chandler worked very well with us. I appreciate him getting everything lined out, and the exact conversion I wanted done. I spoke with several other dealers who were much closer to me. In the end I chose to drive 6 hours round trip because of Steve's help and attention to detail. I would not hesitate to do business with MITS of Virginia again. They really know and stand behind the product they sell. They're just great people to deal with! Thanks again Steve and everyone at MITS of Virginia.
